The Lenco LS-490 combines vinyl playback with an integrated speaker system and modern wireless connectivity. This fully manual turntable with four built-in speakers allows you to listen to your records without connecting separate speakers. With Bluetooth® 5.3 reception, the LS-490 can also be used to play music wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet or other compatible Bluetooth device.
The turntable uses a belt-drive system and supports both 33 and 45 RPM records. An Audio-Technica AT-VM95E cartridge, adjustable counterweight and anti-skating system provide the components needed to set up the tonearm correctly for your vinyl collection.
Four built-in speakers with an anti-vibration system
The LS-490 has four speakers integrated into its cabinet: two 20-watt speakers and two 15-watt speakers. Their patented construction includes an anti-vibration system designed to limit the effect of the speakers on the turntable mechanism.
As the speakers are built into the record player, no separate speaker set is required for everyday listening. Volume can be adjusted directly using the control on the turntable.
Play music via Bluetooth® 5.3
In addition to playing vinyl, the LS-490 functions as a Bluetooth speaker system. Switch the turntable to Bluetooth mode, connect a compatible smartphone, tablet or other audio device and play music through the four built-in speakers.
Bluetooth® 5.3 reception therefore gives the LS-490 an additional playback option alongside your vinyl collection, while keeping operation centred around a single audio system.
Audio-Technica AT-VM95E cartridge
The LS-490 is fitted with an Audio-Technica AT-VM95E Moving Magnet cartridge. The turntable also features an adjustable counterweight and anti-skating control, allowing the tonearm and tracking force to be set correctly.
The platter, tonearm, control panel, anti-skating components and counterweight incorporate aluminium and iron parts. A removable plastic dust cover helps protect the turntable and record surface when the LS-490 is not in use.
Belt drive with 33 and 45 RPM speeds
The belt-drive turntable has two rated speed settings: 33 and 45 RPM. This makes the LS-490 suitable for playing both LPs and singles. A 45 RPM adapter is included for records with a larger centre hole.
The start and stop control is operated directly from the turntable. The LS-490 also features an automatic stop function that stops the platter after the end of the record has been reached.
Connect the turntable to an external audio system
Although the four built-in speakers make the LS-490 ready for standalone use, the turntable can also be integrated into an existing audio setup. The RCA output enables connection to active speakers or an amplifier.
A switchable built-in pre-amplifier allows you to select either PHONO or LINE output, depending on the equipment you connect. A ground connection is also provided.
