The Lenco DVL-2423BK features edge lit local dimming. Local dimming is a technique that improves the black reproduction of your television. Edge lit local dimming has LEDs on the edges of the screen. For each zone, the image is optimised locally in terms of contrast and black levels. A dark scene looks extra realistic and sharp.
