What Is a Fully Automatic Turntable? A fully automatic turntable performs all steps of vinyl playback automatically. This means that, with just one press of the start button, the tonearm moves automatically to the beginning of the record and lowers the needle into place. When the record finishes, the tonearm automatically returns to its rest position and the turntable stops spinning. This brings the following advantages with the LBTA-165BK:
